WEWORK INNOVATION

A co-working company was in need of version 2.0 for their global rollout. Significant change had taken place since we created version 1.0. The company had gone from a single-product company to a multi-faceted company and the needs/requirements of the members was not being met. Of all aspects of the membership, members disliked their offices the most. This was radical data. A co-working company that was thriving despite the displeasure in the office. We developed a strategy around improving “happiness.” We focused on privacy, adaptability, acoustics, and storage - all within the private office.

The next step was to generate substantial savings to enable huge growth. We were charged with finding $80M in savings over 80,000 desks. We achieved $105M. The “Capexathon” as it became known, attacked every aspect of the brands business model looking not only at design solutions but operational and sales attributes as well. As a result, new standards were created, centralized procurement teams were built, and regional design teams now had the ability to work autonomously creating even more flexibility for growth.
